The price varies greatly from chip to chip. At present, the most expensive is the US chip, followed by the Japanese chip and the German chip. The moderate price is the Taiwan chip. The LEDs used in the LED flexible strips currently on the market are Taiwan wafers and wide-area chips. The price is relatively moderate and the performance is not bad. Of course, what chip is used specifically? What effect do you want to achieve? Be sure to know before you buy.
2, LED package: divided into resin package and silicone package. The price of the resin package is cheaper, because the heat dissipation performance is slightly worse, the others are the same. The silicone package has good heat dissipation properties, so the price is slightly more expensive than the resin package.
3, the consistency of LED color: At present, there are many packaging factories in China, there are thousands of large and small, and of course there are strengths and weaknesses. There are many small packaging factories that do not have a splitting color separation machine, so they either do not separate the color separation or are outgoing, so it is difficult to guarantee the quality. LEDs that have not undergone splitting and color separation have poor color consistency, and the effect of being lit on the LED flexible strip is not so good, of course, the price difference is relatively large.
4, LED welding effect: LED soft light belt assembly is divided into manual welding and machine welding. Manual welding is to use soldering iron, using the most primitive method for welding. The product that comes out of this type of operation is ugly in appearance (inconsistent solder joint size, many flux residues, solder joints are not smooth, LED package is burnt, etc.), and second, electrostatic protection measures are not good, many LED chips are broken down. Causes a slight or no light when power is applied.
5, machine welding is not the same, machine welding is by reflow soldering, not only the appearance of the welded product is beautiful (welding point size, solder joints smooth, no flux residue, LED package is intact), and there will be no chip The phenomenon of static electricity burnout. At the same time, the position and orientation of the LEDs are beautiful. This can be seen directly from the appearance.
6, FPC material: FPC is divided into two types of copper and copper, copper plate is relatively cheap, calendered copper is more expensive. The pads of the copper plate are easily peeled off when bent, and the rolled copper does not. Which kind of FPC is used specifically depends on the purchaser's own decision based on the use environment. The FPCs currently used by our company are all rolled copper, so the LED flexible strips produced are also relatively resistant to bending.
7. Does FPC have passed environmental certification, UL certification, and LEDs have patents. There are certified and patented, the price is more expensive, and the price is not cheap.
8, the brightness of the LED: different brightness of the LED price is different, the difference between the ordinary brightness and the bright LED price is quite different. Therefore, when purchasing, you must clearly know what kind of brightness you need, so that you can accurately locate your product.
9, the color of the LED: the color is different, the price is not the same. White and green are more difficult due to color matching and spectral separation, so the price is higher than other colors; red, yellow, blue and other colors are easier to separate, and the consistency is better, so the price is slightly cheaper. Special colors such as purple and brown are the most expensive due to color matching.
